have blue, the flying artichoke, nighthawk and so on.
What blows my mind about this plane? how cheap and simple it was. everything was a hand me down part and it doesn't even have radar.

Good sir, I find this picture contains satisfactory amounts of both wobblin' and goblin.
Actually I think I recognize this pic - I think I used to have a 256 color version up as the background on my dad's laptop. Something like mid 2001.

Its what got me interested in planes. Just the way the thing looks. Absolutely badass.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Awesome book about the entire skunkworks, but Ben Rich took over from Kelly Johnson just around the time of the sr71 and the f117 was his baby.

The Wobblin' Goblin, the worst flying piece of crap since the F4(proof positive that a brick will fly, given enough JP4). This airplane could kill you if there was a brief electrical glitch! Even the pilots who flew them knew they were crap.

They are still flying? I thought the F117 was out of service?

Have blue was the prototype, it was smaller.
Tacit Blue will always be my favorite stealth plane

Yoink! Don't mind if I do. That whole Skunkworks division is what got me into loving aircraft. Especially that god damn bonkers SR-71.
